What about Brexit and the EU? The UK has now made its sad departure from our friends in the EU. I’ve made every effort to ensure your shopping experience is as smooth as possible but there are new VAT changes that you should be aware of when buying from an EU country. Orders from Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Italy, Lithuania, Latvia, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Sweden will be sent ‘DDP’ – delivered duties paid. This means that your rate of VAT is charged when you checkout and no further fees are due once the parcel is received by customs. So, all you have to do is wait for your order to arrive. All other EU countries will be required to pay duties on arrival – if this is you, I anticipate your country to be included in the DDP scheme very soon.
To enable the pre-paid duties option, parcels sent to the EU will now be shipped with a courier service. I want to thank you for your ongoing support – its a difficult and upsetting situation but one I hope will become easier in time. For now, this is an option that keeps the door open to those that feel they can continue to shop with me. Please get in touch via the chat feature or over email if you have any concerns at all.
Can I make a return or exchange? I hope you love your purchases, but if you decide they’re not quite right for you I’ll be more than happy to accept returns or exchanges within 14 days of items received. Please email hello@annabelwilliams.co.uk with your request. All products must be unused and in their original packaging, the buyer is responsible for return postage costs.
Tell me about your packaging. When your lovely parcel arrives it’ll be beautifully wrapped in recycled brown paper and packed in compostable paper or potato starch mailing bag. I always have boxes hanging around so you might receive you order in a perfectly good, reused cardboard box – pop all in the recycling bin for some extra good knitting karma.
