Have you ever opened a book and found a flower inside?
Faded and papery, pressed flat – a little moment you’d forgotten about, waiting to be found again.
Maybe it was a petal from the garden, a flower handed to you by someone dear, or something you picked on a quiet afternoon and tucked between the pages.
This year’s yarn advent
is a tribute to that ritual
Crabapple blossom, feathery fennel, faded geranium, golden tansy, dried poppies, and silvery pressed ferns. All delicate reminders of summer, now softened into natural colour and yarn.
Each piece in the box has been thoughtfully made in my studio, using natural dyes to capture the warmth and memory of the year.
Inside your keepsake box, you’ll find:
1 x 100g skein – Darwin 4ply
A full skein, naturally dyed. The yarn is named after the famous naturalist, Charles Darwin. A beautiful Falkland with Cheviot/Romney characteristics. Naturally grey, the dye adds a stunning hue to the yarn. Darwin is an excellent yarn with beautiful softness.
12 x 20g mini skeins – naturally dyed and numbered:
– 6 x Poldale 4ply: 100% Poldale – a beautiful, springy Falkland yarn with subtle stitch definition and excellent warmth.
– 6 x Darwin 4ply: 100% Falklands – a naturally grey yarn to add depth and warmth to your Advent.
Each mini is individually wrapped and numbered. You can choose to open them day by day, or all at once if you just can’t help yourself.
